Every day more and more cigarette smokers make the switch to the Ecig and never look back.

How the Electronic Cigarette Works

A typical electronic cigarette consists of four main parts. The LED light on the end of the cigarette that emulates lighting a cigarette, the battery which powers the cigarette, the atomizer is the heating element that is used to heat and vaporize the liquid, and finally the nicotine (or non-nicotine) cartridge where the liquid is housed. Ecigarettes don’t require lighters or matches to function. When the user inhales on the nicotine cartridge, the liquid is vaporized by the atomizer to create the “smoke.”
Save Money with Electronic Cigarettes
How many times have you started smoking a cigarette only to throw it away when it’s only halfway burned? Electronic cigarette smokers don’t have this problem. They can simply take a couple puffs, put it back in their pocket or carrying case, and be on their way. Since they are powered by a rechargeable battery, electronic cigarettes can be used over and over again with disposable and/or refillable cartridges. A single nicotine cartridge roughly equates to 12-15 cigarettes. Nicotine cartridges tend to come in 5 packs and cost around $9-15. A typical pack of tobacco cigarettes costs around $6-7. It’s easy to see how much money you can save by making the switch to Electronic Cigarettes!

We’ve been receiving a lot of questions about whether or not it is safe to smoke electronic cigarettes during pregnancy. We are by no means experts on expectant mothers and pregnancy but the answer to this question is an obvious “NO.” Anything a pregnant woman ingests into her body travels to the baby via the umbilical cord including the chemicals found in cigarettes and electronic cigarettes. As you know, nicotine is an extremely powerful and addictive chemical. If an unborn child is exposed to nicotine it stands the chance to experience withdrawal symptoms after being born as well as a multitude of other problems. The chances of birth defects and other complications are increased if the expectant mother drinks, smokes, or ingests other toxic chemicals during pregnancy. Pregnant mothers who smoke even run the risk of losing their baby.
There are some ECigarette retailers out there that talk as if they are the cure all for quitting smoking claiming that it can be done “Anytime, Anywhere”. Sadly this just isn’t the case. If you’re a regular smoker and have ever tried to quit without success, heck, even with success then you know how hard it is to kick the habit. The withdrawal symptoms can get to be so unbearable that the potential quitter feels no choice but to start smoking again just so they will feel “normal.” If you’re trying to quit don’t lose hope. Most people aren’t able to quit on the first try, or even the second, third, fourth, etc… To understand why outrageous claims such as these are being made, one must understand what electronic cigarettes actually are.
